The best day

Sunday is the best day in a week. It’s a free day. You own your time. I usually attend mass early in the morning after a jog, walk or simply viewing the landscape lights around the park. Then, I go to the wet market to shop for my kitchen and refrigerator contents. Lunch and dinner on Sundays are all home cooked. Yes, from Monday to Saturdays, I eat fast food, especially when overtime is needed at work. Ordering from pizza parlors and meals at Chinese restaurants is the trend at work. We usually have lunch while on meetings and dinner in our own offices while rushing some paper works that are due first thing in the morning.

Last sunday, I went though my usual Sunday morning routine and spent the whole afternoon napping, I mean sleeping. Haha! Then after dinner, I had to check my internet connection because I was having problems the other day. Thank God it was working when I checked.

I’ll be home soon

Working in the city make me miss my home that I seldom see my family. I only went home during holidays and I am looking forward each day the day that I will be home again. Good thing, technologies bridge the communication with my family. I can talk to my mom everyday and even chat with her. The last time we talked my younger sister asked me to get her scanner software when I will go home. I promised her to look for the software to grant her wish.

For now, I am already excited to go home since the day is fast approaching. I hope a will have a grand time soon with my family at home.

Saving from now on

I was just at home the whole day. I started my day with a jog early in the morning and a badminton game after. It was all sunny that’s why a physical activity is something fun to do. I saw my cousins jogging as well at the park that early morning, so I end up bonding with them with a badminton game after the jog.

After the game, my cousins were inviting me to go over their place for a swim, but I declined because the rest of my Saturday was already planned for just resting at home. My weekdays had been really tiring because of three out of towns, so I decided to stay at home during the weekend.

I spent the whole afternoon sleeping and browsing online shops. I even saw something that I am going to save for. It was gorgeous and perfect for my casual suits. I’ll also start saving for a footwear. Maybe, a little sacrifice with my coffee intake will help. I am promising myself that I’ll just settle for the instant coffee at the pantry rather than buying from coffee shops.
