The best day

Sunday is the best day in a week. It’s a free day. You own your time. I usually attend mass early in the morning after a jog, walk or simply viewing the landscape lights around the park. Then, I go to the wet market to shop for my kitchen and refrigerator contents. Lunch and dinner on Sundays are all home cooked. Yes, from Monday to Saturdays, I eat fast food, especially when overtime is needed at work. Ordering from pizza parlors and meals at Chinese restaurants is the trend at work. We usually have lunch while on meetings and dinner in our own offices while rushing some paper works that are due first thing in the morning.

Last sunday, I went though my usual Sunday morning routine and spent the whole afternoon napping, I mean sleeping. Haha! Then after dinner, I had to check my internet connection because I was having problems the other day. Thank God it was working when I checked.

Garden project

August 16th, 2010

My friend’s sister will be closing her flower shop soon since they will migrate abroad. My friend asked me if I need some of their things there like computers, monitors, epson receipt printer or a like, I can just visit them before they will disposed all the things in the shop. I like to go there next week to find some old things that I can still use specially their garden materials. I plan to make new outlook in my garden that requires less work. I hope I can finish this project of mine before winter.

Driving soon

I am planning to have my driver’s license soon and to own a brand new car and a gprs navigator with traffic details and radar detectors. At first I am not interested to drive but now that we move in the country side, I need to learn how to drive soon. I hope by early next year I will start my driving lessons.

For now I read books and use my driving computer software to have a little preparation. I hope I can make it at the end of my schooling and again another mile stones to celebrate in my life as an expat.
