My twin godson are celebrating their 10th birthday next month and they have told me already their wish gifts. Both of them wanted a new MP3 players and so I started to scout early. I promise to grant their wishes but I told them to make good in school and they will be rewarded soon. I pray that they will grow in wisdom and faith.
The way my sister had been acting lately, she can win a race! She is always fast in everything she does. She walks really fast like she is a contender in a walkathon race, she eats her meals in less than five minutes, take a bath in less than ten minutes and she can finish her laundry in about half an hour. I hate her always being on the go. She is like the technology phasing, very fast! The last time we went to the grocery, she didn’t want to go where I buy my grocery because the store doesn’t have barcode scanners -meaning doing grocery there takes time. But I was so proud to tell her that the grocery store is now techie because they just installed a Symbol LS2208 barcode scanner last weekend. I was their last customer and I had the chance to chat with the owner. It was nice to know how he handles his business. A good businessman, knows his time line. And he says it’s time they go with the high tech world.
Wow! The world is really spinning faster and faster. Am I the only one who is not really into the technology dependence? Yeah, I mean, I use the internet, in my spare time, while others are living on it already. So, I guess to be powerful, you have to know how to control technology, but the question is, how will one control technology –this fast changing thing that is little by little conquering the world? I remember Lex Luthor in the movie Superman Returns, he needed some kind of technology from Superman’s planet to control the world. LOL! I just hope nobody from another planet would introduce a higher quality of technology.
I had with my dad at the shopping mall this afternoon. It was quite a father-daughter bonding. After buying some electrical supplies, we went to buy some stuff for me. After which, we put the things that we bought in the car before entering the movie theater. Then we had dinner at a famous fast food. We couldn’t hide the fun of going out together. Shopping and movies plus food is really the best bonding activity for us.
