According to Wikipedia, Ephedra has been used as a herbal remedy for asthma, hay fever, and the common cold. However, dietary supplements containing Ephedra have been linked to a high rate of serious side effects and a number of deaths. That is why when you take dietary supplements, you must make sure it’s ephedra free. Dietary products with Ephedra have been banned. That’s why manufacturers using Ephedra has been challenged to get rid of Ephedra from their products. The good news is that, it can be replaced with other herbal stimulants like bitter orange.
