Making sense… (somehow)

This week, I went out with three friends on different days but on the same place. If you are in the province, you don’t actually have a lot of options when it comes to meeting places.

Last Saturday, I went to hear mass and saw an old friend from my previous work. After the mass we decided to eat out at a pizza place while updating each other.  Monday, I again saw another old friend from my previous work when I paid my telephone bill. We again ate snacks at the same pizza place. Then the next day, Tuesday, a friend who is in town for a vacation from Canada called me up and scheduled to meet me in the afternoon at the same pizza place!

That Tuesday night, the security guard on duty in that pizza place was smiling at me as if remembering where he had seen me before! Funny!

In life, we can not deny the fact that we encounter so many downfalls. We always think that we are stronger -coming from all those failures, but more often than not we stumble and fall, again and again. It’s really frustrating when you know you did your best but still you fall flat on your face.

But, as I grew older, I realized how important your choices are. Every decision we make is bound to affect our lives. This may sound so hard and complicated but I think it’s very simple. When given choices to choose from, evaluate each choice by focusing on the possible consequences. Then whatever you have chosen, stick to it no matter what happens. Stand by it, until the end. But when that decision has failed, never regret what you have chosen. Accept, learn from it, let go and move on!

I believe you will live your life to the fullest if you have have this out look in life. After all, life in it’s deepest sense is grand -so enjoy every second of it!
