My mom had made me her personal assistant when it comes to her being frugal. She would always say that you can be thrifty and at the same time live your life to the fullest. Yeah we can enjoy things without spending much.
I am her researcher when it comes to finding items on sale, discounted prices, foreign exchange rates, life insurance rates and any other rate that she can think of, even quotations. The last time I was online, she was asking me about a book fair she heard about. Good thing it was on the news, all I had to do is to let her watch TV. LOL!
Now, I think I am becoming like her. It helps a lot because I am saving now.

When we get our first job ever, we would often be greeted with congratulations because we are now members of the workforce of the country. It’s exciting to get your first job. It’s more of an indication of maturity and responsibility.
My brother had just graduated from high school. Since he doesn’t have enough money for college, he needs to work at a local car company. It’s a small company that assembles parts of branded cars. It was good to know that benefits of their employees are in full blast. Aside from the allowances and bonuses, they also provide SSDI – Social Security Disability Insurance and health care program. My cousin is very lucky to join this kind of company. But I hope my cousin will not be contented on his job and his benefits. He still needs to get a college degree. I wish he can finance his college education soon.

A not so busy day at the office today, my bosses were all out, doing their own businesses. I have finished all my scheduled work because the telephone line was not as busy as the usual. Aside from some instructions over the phone by one of my superiors, a credit card company called to ask if we want to avail credit card insurance, in case we lost the card. Also, she was offering a well known and established universal life insurance. The insurance amortization can be paid using the credit card. My boss once told me about this insurance. He said it’s quite good for an affordable insurance. The package is beneficial enough for the insured. At the end of the day, I was thinking about the insurance.
