A flight attendant began checking the cabin before take-off. A woman asked her, “Please remind my husband to take his heart pills. He is in Business Class seat no. 8.” The attendant assured the woman she would.
After take-off, the attendant approached the man in seat no.8.
“Sir, remember to take your heart pills.”
“How did you know that I have a heart condition?”, asked the man.
“Your wife told me to remind you.” answered the attendant.
The man cried. The attendant asked if there is something wrong. But the man answered,”My wife is dead. Her remains are on board. I am taking her body to be buried at home.”

PART TWO
Another insight from the book. It’s a funny way of mentioning the reality that we grown-ups love to complicate things -solving our problems with other problems!
Here is an excerpt from the book:
The next planet was inhabited by a tippler. This was a very short visit, but it plunged the little prince into deep dejection.
“What are you doing there?” he said to the tippler, whom he found settle down in silence before a collection of empty bottles and also a collection of full bottles.
“I’m drinking,” replied the tippler with a lugubrious air.
“Why are you drinking?” demanded the little prince.
“So that I may forget,” replied the tippler.
“Forget what?” inquired the little prince, who was already sorry for him.
“Forget that I am ashamed,” the tippler confessed, hanging his head.
“Ashamed of what?” insisted the little prince, who wanted to help him.
“Ashamed of drinking!” The trippler brought his speech to an end, and shut himself up in an impregnable silence.
And the little prince went away puzzled.
“The grown-ups are certainly very, very odd,” he said to himself as he continued his journey.

For people who have the passion of reading and writing, the library is a good refuge. (I’ve mentioned something like this in my second blog entry: nice to meet me!) Anyway, in my younger days, as in my grade school days, I never visited the library. In high school, I visited it more often because it’s where my intelligent classmates where! They often times share their assignments! I only borrowed a book once (except for my textbooks of course, those were required) in my research subject (that was a requirement as well). So there I was, I never really took good use of the library in my eleven-year stay in my school. I was young and didn’t realize the value of reading. Maybe the people in school and at home taught me the benefits of reading but stubborn as I am, I never bothered to go and explore the library. I only started to appreciate reading when I went to college, where the library is an open one. Where you have the freedom to choose books that excites your passion. Today, I still have that burning passion in me, that’s why I often go to the National Library or even spend hours in a bookstore at the mall.
Reading is a very good tool for someone to succeed. It pays when you know a lot! Someday, I dream of putting up a library in my place, where everyone can make good use of the learning materials inside. It will be a wonderful way to encourage learning. There will be the traditional sections and a reading area for kids!
Well, I’m keeping my fingers crossed!
