THE LITTLE PRINCE (Antoine De Saint – Expery)
PART ONE
When I first encountered this book, I didn’t finish reading it because of nosebleed! Haha! A few years later, when I thought I was more mature because I was older, I tried to re-read the book again. I really sat down and disected the book! And the funny and ironic thing that I realized is that, one must go back to his child self again in order to understand the book clearly. As the author stated in his dedication: Grown-ups were once children but few of them remember it. It’s very true, we grown-ups like to complicate things when everything should be simple and easy. We tend to prioritize unimportant things as matters of consequence.
Often times, we don’t really know what we are looking for. The fox said, “you can not find it because you are using your eyes which are blind. One must look with the heart beacuse it is only with the heart that one can see rightly, what is essential is invisible to the eye.”
It’s really a nice book. There are still alot of things to learn in this book. It’s worth the read!
