Children are more excited about the holidays because they are always the center of the holidays. Maybe because of the time they spent with our families and having the chance to see our different relatives and of course the gifts they receive on Christmas day. But adults are also as excited as the kids in looking forward for the holidays. The Christmas break will give us the chance to be at home relaxing and not thinking of work. We also get excited about friends and relatives’ holiday reunions. We also can’t wait to see how the kids’ react when they open their gifts on Christmas Day. As a matter of fact, many of us have already shopped for gifts for the kids as early as November.
Arielle Thoughts
Everyone is looking forward again for a holiday that would drop on a Friday which means a long weekend. Long weekend equals time for yourself, time for your family. That would be next week for us. The anticipation of this long weekend had brought my niece into Jovani prom dresses shopping as they are having a late prom in school. I think we will be checking some gowns online this weekend. Aside from the prom dress, we also went to the idea of early shopping for the Christmas food that we will be preparing. It just shows that we can’t wait to do things for ourselves and our family this time and not all work or school. I am just as excited as everyone else.

Every last week of November, my grandparents would ask us, their grand children to give them our wish list for Christmas. It had been their tradition to give us what we wish for Christmas ever since we were kids. My sister and I were guessing what we had wished for. I am thinking that, since my sister had already asked for a new Mac book last year, maybe she is asking for an apple ipod shuffle this time. She had already guess what I wished for –books! Because every year I ask for books ever since I can read. LOL! Maybe next year I would change my wish list and go for new gadgets like my sister and my cousins. Hmm… Nah.. I would still go for books!
